  thank you for putting down your experience with our church community. I would had hoped that you felt better about your time with us. i like to say, at its best church is like family & at its worst it is like a family. there are good parts we speak of and not so fun spots we speak of. we are a church & having been a part of many churches we are a fantastic group of people trying to live out what it means to be an apprentice of Christ. are we perfect in this? certainly not, but we keep practicing.
  
  i would hope that people would have been more attentive to you. please show us some grace that not everyone knows who every new person is to offer an extended welcome to you and your family.
  
  as for the 'charged drinks' issue. if that was part of our youth community, those were charges of 50cents and a dollar at the most and only help us cover some costs to provide drinks for the youth. 50 cents for a healthy smoothie or fairly traded hot chocolate doesn't seem unreasonable to us.

  This is the church I grew up in. Great people, and they have been a part of the community for a very long time. They have a Day Care, and also have Mommy Day Out and Parent Night Out programs.
